MEET OUR TEAM

Dave Ridley, Community Development Officer

Overseeing and organising the community programme is Dave Ridley. Dave has worked for many professional sports teams in the area and has also worked in a voluntary capacity for many of the local community groups. Dave understands the importance of his role and is passionate about providing sporting opportunities to everyone and maintaining relationships with supporters of the charity. Robbie Pamphilon, Community Coach

Robbie is our most senior coach who has worked with the community programme for many years alongside Sam Bullas, Aaron Nell and Ryan Aldridge to name a few; learning from some of the best coaches in British ice hockey, Robbie is well known in the Swindon area. He has been a big part in developing many players both on and off the ice in Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey Academy whilst also complimenting this with his work as assistant coach to the Swindon Wildcats NIHL 1 and 2 teams.

Tyler Plews, Community Coach

Tyler is in his second consecutive season of playing for the Swindon Wildcats in the National Ice Hockey League and is a distinguishable player in the Wildcats defence. Popular amongst the team and fans, he is quickly becoming a fan favourite. Using his experience, skills and knowledge Tyler is delivering exciting sessions and has been a very positive influence on the next generation of Ice Hockey players. With a coaching background he is passionate in continuing his development as a coach both on and off ice and is involved with our introduction to ice skating sessions and street hockey after school clubs.

Aaron Moody, Community Apprentice

Aaron is a player for the Okanagan UK Hockey Academy, by working alongside our community team his role will see him further his education whilst developing his skills as a coach and continuing his passion for ice hockey. Aaron has proven invaluable on the ice and in local schools working alongside other coaches due to a lifetime involvement in ice hockey.
