The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to confirm that Jacob Minter is joining the team on a full-time deal for the forthcoming season.
Jacob, a product of the Wildcats academy, has spent the last couple of seasons on a two-way deal with the Slough Jets. This coming season, though, he is a Wildcat.
Over the last three seasons, he has iced in over 25 National League games and will add youth and extra depth to the D core for 2026/27.
During his time with the Jets, he has secured multiple championships and been named to the NIHL 1 All-Star team.
Head Coach Aaron Nell said:
"We’re really happy to have Jacob full-time with us this year. He’s been knocking on the door for a couple of years now and with Godders retiring the time is right for him to make the step up. He moves the puck well, has good size, and a good hockey brain.
I’m excited to coach him full-time next year and see what he can learn from guys like Ryan and Ben throughout the season."
Jacob added:
"I’m really excited to be joining the Wildcats full-time next year and joining up with the rest of the team. I can’t wait to be back playing and pushing for more silverware again! Looking forward to the next season and see you in September!"
