LUC JOHNSON RETURNS TO SWINDON WILDCATS FOR 2025/26 SEASON


The Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to confirm that Luc Johnson will be returning to the team for the 2025/26 NIHL National season.


Johnson, a versatile and hard-working forward, made a strong impact during the 2024/25 campaign, featuring in 60 games for the Wildcats. Known for his consistency, smart two-way play, and work ethic, Luc’s return is a key boost as the club continues building its roster for the new season.


Wildcats Head Coach Aaron Nell shared his thoughts on bringing Luc back to Swindon: “Luc is a versatile player for us who always plays with a smile. He can play anywhere in our line up and at all parts of the ice. With Luc you’ll know you get 110% every night and that commitment is infectious in the locker room. The fans will be pleased to see him back and we know he’ll be a big part of the team again. I’m happy to have him back in Swindon for another season”


Speaking on his return, Luc Johnson said: “I’m super excited to be back in Swindon for another year! I’ve made friends for life, and I really couldn’t have pictured myself playing anywhere else! The team is looking stronger than ever, and I know that I, along with everyone on the team and behind the scenes are working as hard as we can to bring silverware back to the Link Centre. Luc’s return adds further continuity and strength to the Wildcats’ forward group as the team gears up for what promises to be another exciting year of hockey at the Link Centre.
