Hey Wildcats Fans,
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for your support last year. Winning the league is something super special, which I know I’ll never forget.
The hockey season comes with many ups and downs, and last year was very mentally challenging, even with the ultimate high of winning the league. Trying to balance life, work and hockey can become very tiresome, and I have decided to take a break from hockey and will not be returning to the Cats for the 26/27 season.
I’ll be taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in October, which is a bucket list item for me, so I will be focusing on that over the summer. I will be raising money for charities that support mental health in sportspeople; the link is here. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
I’m sure I’ll be down at the Link to catch up with you and the boys at some point, but leaving as a League Champion is the best feeling I could have asked for.
Best of luck for the new season,
Luc
