In news which will delight all Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats fans, Tomasz Malasinski is continuing his stay in Swindon for another season after signing another contract extension with the Swindon Wildcats.
The Polish superstar needs no introduction to Wildcats fans having been a dominant player in a Swindon jersey since his first spell at the club began in 2014.
Last time around Tomasz posted 23 goals and 55 assists, which was second for scoring on the team. However, he led the Wildcats in playoff scoring, proving his abilities in the biggest games with 12 points in 7 games.
His second spell in Swindon began in 2019 and he has added well over 150 goals and 250 assists in just his second spell with the club.
Head Coach Aaron Nell was pleased to confirm his first import signing of the summer:
Bringing Tomasz back is an easy decision for us. He leads our team with the way he plays and his contributions on the ice are so much more than the points he scores.
He is a complete player who plays at both ends of the ice and is a massive part of our organisation. We have added a couple of fresh faces this year, but I wanted to keep Tomasz around as he’s a vital part of the club.
We can see how much the fans wanted this signing confirmed so I know they’ll be happy with this news in the heart of Summer!
