The Swindon Wildcats delivered a thrilling comeback performance at the Link Centre, overturning a slow start to claim a well-earned 6–3 victory over the Telford Tigers.

The night began brightly for Swindon as Aaron Nell opened the scoring at 07:08, firing home after good build-up play from Logan vande Meerakker and Godfrey. But the Tigers responded quickly and effectively. A powerplay strike from Brynley Capps at 12:15 levelled the game, and early in the second period the visitors took control. Goals from Eric Henderson (25:32) and Thomas Byrne on the man-advantage (28:15) put Telford 3–1 ahead.

That two-goal deficit sparked the Wildcats into life.

Just 18 seconds after the Tigers’ third, Tomasz Malasinski pulled Swindon back into the contest, finishing a slick move with help from Bradley and Griffiths. The momentum shifted instantly, and Swindon took full command of the period.

At 34:30, Tyler Watkins tied the game after being teed up by Malasinski, before vande Meerakker capped a dominant stretch with a go-ahead goal at 35:52, assisted again by Bradley. The Wildcats weren’t done yet. Watkins added his second at 37:21, with Malasinski registering yet another assist, completing a stunning four-goal turnaround in less than nine minutes.

Swindon protected their lead confidently throughout the final period, absorbing Telford’s pressure and waiting for the moment to seal the win. It arrived at 55:21 when Edgars Bebris pounced, converting from vande Meerakker and Bradley to make it 6–3 and put the game beyond reach.
