Swindon Wildcats Celebrate Pride Week: Championing Diversity and Inclusion in Ice Hockey
England Ice Hockey has announced its fourth annual Pride Week, which will take place from January 18-26, 2025. We are proud to announce our participation in the Pride Week, taking place at our two home games on the 18th and 25th January. This celebration underscores the Wildcats’ commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in ice hockey and beyond.
During Pride Week, the Wildcats will join teams across the league to show solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community, aiming to foster a welcoming and safe environment for players, staff, and fans of all backgrounds.
Key Highlights of the Week:
• Pride-Themed Game Night: The Wildcats’ home fixtures will feature a Pride-themed evening. Fans can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere with lots going on!
• Limited Edition Jerseys: Players will wear unique Pride jerseys during the week, which will be auctioned off after the event to raise funds for LGBTQ+ charities.
