Few things in hockey create the same magic as a Teddy Bear Toss. It’s a tradition loved across the sport: the moment the home team score their first goal, the ice is instantly flooded with flying teddies. And this Saturday, we want the Link Centre packed, loud, and ready to launch.
How It Works
As soon as the Wildcats score their opening goal fans are encouraged to throw their teddy bear onto the ice. In seconds the rink turns into a sea of soft toys a brilliant sight and an even better cause. You can see last year's Teddy Bear Toss HERE
Supporting Barnardo’s
Every teddy thrown will be collected and donated to Barnardo’s helping bring comfort joy and support to children who need it most this winter.
What You Need to Do
Please bring:
- A brand-new teddy bear (no used toys)
- Wrapped in a clear plastic bag
- This keeps the bears clean and safe for donation
- Makes collection smoother and faster
