Saturday 8th November 2025 | The Link Centre

The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats held off a late Telford Tigers fightback to secure a thrilling 4–3 victory at The Link Centre on Saturday night.

Swindon came flying out of the gates, opening the scoring inside the first minute as Tyler Watkins converted from Tomasz Malasinski’s setup just 37 seconds into the game. The Tigers hit back quickly through Brynley Capps at 6:46, levelling the scores at one apiece.

The Wildcats regained control soon after, and in spectacular fashion, when Malasinski struck a short-handed goal assisted by Godfrey and Clarke-Leach at 8:08 to make it 2–1. Swindon’s momentum continued to build as Watkins added his second of the night at 12:32, assisted this time from Nell and Smith, before Ed Bradley made it 4–1 late in the first period with help from Bradley and Bullas.

The second period saw no further scoring, but the Tigers came roaring back in the third. James Smith cut the deficit to two at 43:05, before David Thomson struck just over a minute later to make it 4–3 and set up a tense finale.

Despite Telford’s late surge, the Wildcats held firm defensively to see out the win and claim another vital two points in front of their home crowd.
