Hey Wildcats Fans,

I just wanted to write a short message to thank you all for your incredible support over the years.

This summer, I’ve made the decision to retire from hockey and spend more time away from the rink with my young family.

I’ve played hockey for as long as I can remember, and to retire as a Wildcats League Champion is something I will be forever proud of. Your support throughout the years has been amazing, and I truly cannot thank you enough. There have been so many special moments, including cup wins, but this league title was the best of them all.

To my family, thank you for your love, support, and sacrifices throughout my career. Hockey asks a lot, not just of the players, but of the people around them. I couldn’t have done any of this without you.

I want to thank my teammates, past and present. It’s been a privilege to share the ice, the dressing room, and so many unforgettable memories with you all. The friendships, battles, and moments we’ve shared are what I’ll cherish the most.

I'd like to thank my sponsors, The Norbury Family, who have supported me on and off the ice through my time at the club.

I’d also like to thank Aaron, Steve, Rob, Danny and the entire organisation for everything they have done for me.

I wish everyone all the very best for the future, and I’m sure I’ll see you all again soon.

Sam
