After a stalemate of a first period, the Cats broke the deadlock in the second period through Aaron Nell who fired it into the back of the net in the slot. But the Dogs fought back with two of their own.
Their first coming from Björkly Nordström who snapped the puck through Renny Marr, then the second was a well taken penalty shot scored by Elmeri Halfors as he was hooked on a breakaway.
The Cats did find a way back into the game through Tyler Plews who arrowed his shot straight into the top corner. The Cats then had a lot of momentum and nearly got a winner of their own with Chris Jones hitting the inside of the bar but bouncing out. Then with nine seconds to go, Walker Sommer drove down the ice and fired a shot which snuck into the back of the net to give the hosts the two points.

Game Report: Seahawks Vs Wildcats
The Wildcats put on a defensive clinic in the first two periods and scored two goals of their own. The first one scored by Luc Johnson who calmly slotted the puck low past Mcglaughlin. Then the second came on the powerplay through Ed Bradley who first timed the puck high into the net.
However the Seahawks battled back into the game. James Spurr found the loose puck and slotted it past Marr. Then a few minutes later Owen Sobchak fired one in from the blue line which sparked life into the Seahawks.
Then came the turning point of the whole game, Sobchak went in alone one on one but Marr made a huge save to deny him and just a couple minutes after, the Wildcats retook the lead. Bradley firing the puck into the top corner. Pakozdi then broke away with Malasinski and restored the Cats two goal lead as he dragged it past Mcglaughlin. Jake Bricknell then secured the two points with a lovely wrap around.
End of the game: Seahawks 2-5 Wildcats
