The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats can confirm that league-winning forward Tyler Watkins will be leaving the team after a single season in Wiltshire to pursue other opportunities.

Arriving from Hungary last summer, Tyler became a vital part of the team that were crowned league champions earlier this year.

In 48 league games, he secured 54 points and a further 3 points in 6 playoff games.

Tyler Watkins said:

Thank you for all the support over this past season. The support and energy you brought made the Link Centre the best place to play in the league. I will cherish the memories from last season forever.

Head Coach Aaron Nell added:

I would like to thank Tyler for the professionalism he showed last year and the commitment he brought every night. He’s a great hockey player and a brilliant person who will always be a big part of the championship we won last season. We wish him well in the future.
