Swindon Wildcats are delighted to announce that this coming weekend we’ll be hosting The Fairways, a purpose built 60 place residential and dementia care home. They will be our game night charity where we hope the generous Wildcats fans can support them in their fundraising.

Their mission is to improve the quality of life for older people, inspired by Christian concern. The Fairways is part of MHA a charity with over 70 years’ experience and provide care, accommodation and support services for more than 18,000 older people throughout Britain.

Their fundraising on game day will go a long way in supplementing their activity budget, with money being raised that goes towards outings, entertainment and fulfilling residents wishes. One thing they are are currently raising money for is to transform one of their lounges into a ‘coffee shop’ where residents and their families can relax.

Community Co-ordinator Mary Kidd told us:

“We are really looking forward to the game on Saturday night. Thank you to Sally and the Wildcats organisation for hosting this charity night for us.”

We hope the fans will come out in their numbers to support such a wonderful charity this coming Saturday. Visit the Fairways team on the concourse or for more information visit their website: https://www.mha.org.uk/
