The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to be launching our new 21/22 jerseys which are made to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 1991 Autumn Trophy victory against the MK Kings.

In 1991, names like Daryl Lipsey, Bryan Larkin and Lee Elliot etched their names in Wildcats history when they lifted the trophy in Sheffield after a dramatic penalty shootout victory.

This year the class of 21/22 will take to the ice wearing our commemorative jerseys featuring a very similar design of retro hockey sticks on the front of the jersey.

Inspired by the 1991 Autumn Trophy winning team shirt the original stick motif design has been updated to represent the three cups that Wildcats have won, the Autumn Trophy, the Autumn Cup and the National Cup.

We also have got a 30th anniversary celebration logo featured on the collar to make this year’s jersey a really unique one linking into a major part of our history.

Head Coach & GM Aaron Nell couldn’t be happier with the design of the 21/22 jersey:

The 1991 Autumn Trophy final is one of the most important nights in the clubs history and I’m proud we can celebrate the 30th anniversary of it in this way.

I grew up watching some of the names who won that tournament and I’m sure there are a few fans who went to that game and have very fond memories of the win.

We hope the fans love the jerseys as much as we do and I know the players will be proud to wear them this season.

With the fixtures released, and now the jerseys it’s been a busy week but the hockey season feels so much closer now and we just can’t wait to hit the ice again in September.

Jerseys will be available in red and white and can be ordered NOW via our online store.
