The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are pleased to confirm that Sam Bullas will once more be back with the Wildcats for 23/24.

This coming season will be his 15th year in Swindon after moving from Nottingham in 2009. Since then, Sam has taken what it means to be a Wildcat to new levels.

He’s iced in more games than anyone else in Swindon history and will continue to increase his tally next year.

Head Coach Aaron Nell said:

Going into a season without Bully would be a strange one for the club so I’m thrilled he’ll be back with us again next year. As long as he wants to carry on playing he’ll be one of the first names I sign each year.

He’s part of the furniture in Swindon & the fans love him. He brings a commitment to the club in a way you can’t teach and gives 110% every night. I know how happy the fans will be to see him back again!

Meanwhile, Sam himself added:

I say this every year but there is nowhere else I would play other than Swindon. I love the club and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved in the last few years.

Last year I think we underperformed at times and with the look of the roster Aaron is putting together it’s going to be an exciting season next year.

The fans are the best in the league and the standard of hockey has got better every year. I’m excited to get back on the ice and playing in front of the Cats fans again!
