Following the announcement that Sam Godfrey will be returning to the Wildcats for the new season, we are also pleased that Cardwave Services will once again be backing him as full player sponsor for 2019/20.

Cardwave became sponsors of Godfrey last year thanks to CEO Paul Norbury being heavily influenced by daughter Lucy when deciding which player he should back for the season.

Commenting on the news that Godfrey had re-signed, Paul had little choice but to renew the sponsorship saying:

“Lucy wouldn’t forgive me if I refused, so I am happy to support Sam for another year. In all seriousness, I’ve got to know Sam a lot this past season and we’ve had several conservations about business and how companies work. He wants to win and be the best at everything and this is clearly evident in the way he plays, so I am happy to back a winner”.

Sam is added to the list of other players sponsored by Cardwave which includes Adam Harding, Kenton Smith, Adam Finlinson, Michael Crisp and Jonas Hoog.

Sally Price, Commercial Manager was thrilled that Cardwave has decided to sponsor Godfrey for another season:

“It’s always a pleasure to welcome Cardwave back on board, they are already heavily involved with the club in so many ways and we’re so thankful for the all the support they give our Cats! Welcome back Cardwave family, it’s great to have you on board for another season.”

Whilst full sponsorship for Sam has been filled, we still have kit sponsorship and associate sponsorship available. To make an enquiry please email Sally.Price@swindonwildcats.com or phone 01793 886857.
