Hey everyone,

I hope you are all having a good week!

Last weekend was a really tough one for us having to play three games in three days, but I couldn’t be prouder of the guys for getting five points out of a possible six. Playing three games like that is a huge ask and everyone did superbly.

Getting through to the Semi-Finals of the Autumn Cup was a target we set ourselves at the start of the year and I’m pleased we’ve been able to achieve it. We made it difficult for ourselves, but we can all be proud of how we got ourselves back into it.

Knockout hockey is always exciting to watch, and we can’t wait to take part in the semi-finals. For now, our attentions turn to the league campaign. During the pandemic, we’ve played a lot of cup hockey, but the league is always the most important trophy for us.

Both games will be a big challenge for us and we have to be ready. It’s important to us that the momentum we’ve generated in the last two weekends isn’t lost as we start the league campaign. Sheffield and Telford both have very good teams so it will be a hard weekend of hockey.

Lastly, I’d like to congratulate Emil on his Player of the Month award. It’s been hard for him moving to a new country and getting adjusted to life in England. We saw on Saturday how big a player he can be for us and I hope we see more of that shot this weekend!

Enjoy the hockey!
