The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to be confirming that on Saturday 11th September we will be hitting the ice for a pre-season challenge weekend with the Bees IHC.

On Saturday evening we’ll be hosting Doug Sheppard and the Bees in our traditional yearly challenge weekend. The Sunday evening will see us travel down the M4 to Slough to take them on in the return fixture.

The Bees roster is already beginning to look strong with the return of Adam Goss, Harvey Stead and one of 19-20s most impactful forwards, Dominik Gabaj. Similarly, with names like Edgars Bebris, Chris Jones and former Polish international Tomasz Malasinski on the Wildcats roster for 21/22 it promises to be a great warmup for an eagerly anticipated season.

Head Coach Aaron Nell said:

“We cannot wait to get underway again in September and the team and I are all counting down the days. Our pre-season schedule is always important to us and playing the Bees will give us a good test before we get underway the weekend after for real. Doug always builds a tough team to play against and I’m looking forward to both games.

Ticket information will be released in due course alongside the face-off time for both games, but we’d urge you all to add both fixtures into your calendar!

We are continuing to finalise further pre-season games on the weekend of 4th/5th September and hope to have more information regarding these games in the next couple of weeks.
