Swindon Wildcats and long term sponsor Arval UK are working with Central Swindon North Parish Council and Swindon Scrapstore to provide even more meals to those in need over the Christmas holidays.
Arval BNP Paribas Group are long term sponsors of the Swindon Wildcats Ice Hockey club and have had a long-running involvement in the club’s community programme over recent years.
Swindon Wildcat’s Managing Director Steve Nell said “Arval has always been outstanding in supporting the community and we are incredibly pleased to be working with them to donate even more meals over the Christmas holidays!
We are working with Central Swindon North Parish Council and local charity Swindon Scrapstore to put the hampers together using food donated and gifts.
The goal is to help Swindon Scrapstore with the fund-raising efforts to support all Swindon families including for vulnerable people and the homeless.”
By supporting this campaign we will be providing the following:
- Christmas Dinner hampers to families who are going without this Christmas
- Giving children of families worse affected by poverty and sadly self-isolating a gift to open on Christmas day, this may be the only gift they have this Christmas.
- Providing board games and family games to families.
