Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to announce that this coming Saturday we will be joined by Terrence Higgins Trust as our in-house charity for the evening. Chelsie Tomkins will be running the 2020 London Marathon raising money for Terrence Higgins Trust.

Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) is a charity whose mission is to end the transmission of HIV in the UK and to empower and support people living with HIV to lead healthy lives. THT also amplify the voices of those affected by HIV across public and political arenas to eradicate stigma and discrimination.

Their vision is a world where people with HIV live healthy lives free from prejudice and discrimination, and good sexual health is a right and reality for all. This weekend we’re delighted to be helping support Chelsie in raising money and awareness for this superb cause.

‘I’m running the London Marathon next year for Terrance Higgins Trust. I chose this charity as a family member was diagnosed with HIV and my interest in sexual health grew from there. I am also a nurse working within sexual health and I am passionate about spreading awareness about HIV and ending the stigma of it’ Said Chelsie.
