At this Saturday’s huge game with the Telford Tigers we’re delighted to confirm that we’ll be joined by Scott Ellis who in April will be running the London Marathon raising money for WellChild.

WellChild provides help and support for children with serious illnesses and health needs. In addition to supporting the child, WellChild offers emotional and practical support to the family to enable them to care for their child at home instead of a hospital. WellChild uses donations to support garden projects that allow the children and their families to enjoy time together outside in a safe environment.

Here are some of the ways your donation could help a seriously ill child and their family:

£10 will go towards wood, paint or play equipment so that the helping hand’s team can transform a child’s bedroom or garden

£25 will fund an hour’s specialist care and support by a WellChild nurse to help get a child home to be with their family

£100 will fund half a day of training for a family at the ‘better at home’ suite to enable parents to care for their children at home

£1000 will fund a week’s specialist care and support from a WellChild nurse to help get a child home to their family

We’re proud to be working with Scott and are thrilled to be helping him raise some money for such a superb cause.

We encourage every Cats fan to donate what they can and we thank them in advance for their wonderful generosity for such an amazing cause.
