MFOR 2020 CONFIRMS ADDITIONAL HYGIENE MEASURES AHEAD OF NEW ACT ANNOUNCEMENT

Mfor, the one-day music and entertainment festival taking place at Lydiard Park on 25th July 2020, today confirmed that additional hygiene measures and hand-washing facilities will be introduced to the event this year to ensure the wellbeing of attendees.

The outdoor event is on course for a sell out this year with artists including Craig David, Rudimental, Ella Henderson, Phats and Small and Lindy Layton (Beats International) already confirmed.

With a further artist announcement expected next week, and a second stage packed full of local talent, festival organisers will be bringing even more music and entertainment to Lydiard Park this year, whilst supporting veteran, military and mental health charities.

Running from 11am to 10.30pm tickets to the event are selling fast.  A limited number of tier two tickets, available at www.mforfestival.co.uk, are available until 31st March 2020, when the prices will rise.

Mfor founders Graham Stobbs and Debra Collins said, “We want to ensure the wellbeing of everyone who comes to join the Mfor party so we will be closely following Public Health England guidelines.  We will be bringing in additional hand washing facilities and will take any other precautions necessary.”

As in 2019, the event will support former military servicemen and women and raise awareness of mental health issues, so fundraising will also take place during the day, for charities including ‘Walking with the Wounded’ and local Swindon community projects such as The Veterans Hub Swindon.
