Swindon Wildcats are delighted to announce that we will be partnering up with the 2019 MFOR Festival being held at Lydiard Park, Swindon.

The MFOR festival this year will be held on 27th July 2019 and already features a whole host of activities to keep all the family entertained. The Red Devils, the official parachute display team of the British Army, will be dropping into the day’s events in a way only they could.

There will also be a 110ft Army boot camp challenger obstacle course. It is one of the most exciting Adrenaline assault courses in the UK, made specifically for adults. Designed as a two-player game, the race is on to see who can make it through the ten obstacles before heading down the slide at the end, before you get a very well earned break!

The main charity of the event will be Walking With The Wounded, who support a pathway for vulnerable veterans to re-integrate back into society and sustain their independence.

On top of all this, there will of course be live music throughout the day, whilst the organisers are still signing up the headline acts. With names like Pixie Lott, Peter Andre, Atomic Kitten and Aston Merrygold all featured on last year’s bill you can be sure there will be some big household names coming to Lydiard Park this summer.

Swindon Wildcats Commercial Manager Sally Price said:

“It’s an absolute pleasure to welcome the MFOR Festival on board as sponsors. This is such an awesome event ran by honest kind-hearted people that just want to give back to the community and help Swindon flourish. We cannot wait to help promote this fantastic event and get involved with the festival itself, offering support from the players, media team and the Wildcats in the Community Charity.”

Tickets are currently on sale at £32.99 per adult and will remain at this price until the end of March when they do slightly increase, so grab your tickets now and be part of what will be a truly exciting festival in Swindon.
