The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are delighted to be announcing a new furry face to the
Wildcats. After loyal mascot Willie Wildcat retired during the off-season the backroom staff at the
Wildcats have spent the last few weeks auditioning to find Willie’s replacement.
We found our new mascot, and after the fans had their say in naming him we’re delighted to say
that our new mascot is making his debut in tomorrow’s Autumn Cup Match with Telford.
Amazingly, not only have we found our mascot, but he’s also the cousin of former mascot #00 Willie!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, we cannot wait for you to meet Scratch, our brand-new
mascot!

Scratch is so excited to see you all and if there’s one thing we’re confident of, he’s got loads of
energy to burn cheering the boys on tomorrow!
Speaking exclusively to swindonwildcats.com Scratch himself said:
I’ve been waiting for this moment for a while now and I’m so excited to meet all my new friends at
the Better Link Centre.

Willie told me how amazing everyone is and I’m looking forward to gameday. I’ve told Aaron and the
team that they need to tame the Tigers but they’re going to need all of our support to do that.
If you see me at the game please ask me for a photo or a high-five, but the catch is I’m only going to
say yes if you promise to shout ‘LETS GO WILDCATS’ nice and loudly all night long!
