The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are delighted to confirm the dates for the forthcoming end of season playoffs.

The attention now switches to the Sheffield Steeldogs who we’ll be facing in the quarter-final round of the playoffs. The winner over the two legs will take their place in Coventry for the Final Four weekend.

Both games will be played over the Easter Weekend (7th/8th April), which is the week before the NIHL National Finals Weekend in Coventry.

On Friday 7th April we’ll be travelling north to Sheffield to take on the Steeldogs in a 6PM face-off, we’ll then be returning to Swindon on Saturday 8th April for the second and decisive leg in our usual 6:30PM face-off timeslot.

For those of you new to Ice Hockey and the world of the Wildcats this year, Playoff hockey is always the most intense and entertaining games of the year where two teams battle it out for a place in the final four!

Head Coach Aaron Nell said:

“The playoffs are always the most exciting games of the season and we’ve been building towards them for the last few weeks. We’ve had some good battles with Sheffield over the course of the season and I’m sure these games will be no different.

We’re looking forward to having a packed home crowd for the second leg and hopefully you’ll be cheering us on to the Coventry weekend to make it a brilliant easter!”

You can get your tickets to the home-leg of the quarter final here, and Season Ticket holders will have received an email on how to secure their seats, and will have until 11:59PM on Sunday 2nd April to reserve their seats at the pro-rata price.
