For the upcoming National campaign, the Wildcats will once again be linking up with the Prospect Hospice as charity partners for the 2019/20 season. The Prospect Hospice are an unbelievable local charity and one in which the club are proud to be partnered with for another season.

The arrangement will see the Prospect Hospice branding prominently displayed in the Better Ice Rink on their advertising board during Wildcats’ matches in the months ahead.

Speaking about the partnership, Commercial Manager Sally Price said:

“It’s an absolute pleasure to partner up with the Prospect Hospice for another season, they are such an amazing charity that provide massive support for anyone in need of their services in the local community. I want to do all that we can to help raise awareness and funds for them, being a charity that is very close to my heart. As a very close hockey family we look forward to supporting Prospect into the new season.”

Prospect Hospice supports a community of more than 300,000 people in Swindon, Marlborough and north Wiltshire with the aim of bringing the best possible end-of-life care to people with life-limiting illnesses and offer support for the people closest to them. They provides a broad range of services to thousands of patients, carers and family members every year.

Their team of nurses, doctors and therapists support patients at the hospice in Wroughton, at the Wellbeing Centre in Marlborough, in their own homes and care homes, and through a palliative care team at the Great Western Hospital.

Speaking about the partnership, Head of Community Engagement Warren Finney said:

“Everyone should have access to excellent end-of-life care, no matter who you are or where you live. One of our priorities is to reach out to every community in Swindon and north-east Wiltshire, so that people know we’re there for them should they, or someone important to them, need us. Collaborating with the Wildcats is a fantastic way in which we can let everyone know about our different services, how we can help and, importantly, how people can support us, should they wish to. We did some great work with the Wildcats last year and I’m looking forward to what we can achieve together next season.”
