It’s The Final Game
The playoffs aren’t over yet & Wildcats still have a chance to qualify! If Peterborough lose today & Sunday and Wildcats win both games, we will qualify for the Final Four in Coventry.
There will also be plenty of time to catch the sun during the off season, but you won’t be able to get your next hockey fix until September (excluding Whitfield’s testimonial of course).
Liddiard’s Final Game
The legend also known as Lidds will be icing his final game of the season on Sunday night! Fans are rallying to applaud him for 1 minute, during the 44th minute & 44th Second of the game (That’s 15minutes and 16 seconds remaining in the 3rd period).
Liddiard has played senior ice hockey for 29 seasons, with 10 years being of those being in Swindon, 12 years at Guildford Flames and he has won many trophies along the way. Lidds has been assistant captain for 6 years at the Wildcats and is a ‘team-first’ guy. We hope you’ll all agree that he deserves a massive send off!
