Swindon Wildcats are pleased to confirm that this Saturday’s game with the MK Lightning will be the next in the long line of charity nights with the news that Swindon Advocacy Movement will be fundraising with us.

On the 29th we will be fundraising specifically for our Community Advocacy Team’s PROJECT BOOST – an Independence Project for Adults with Learning Disabilities in Swindon.

The project launched in August 2019 and so far, they have worked with over 40 clients providing them with accessible and meaningful short courses and workshops in everything from Cooking skills, Money & Budgeting, Health & Hygiene and much more. Many of their Service Users have achieved AQA Unit Award Certificates through the project.

Working alongside people with autism, mental health issues, learning disabilities and dementia; SAM challenges inequality and social injustice.

SAM’s advocacy work informs a society where everybody is welcome and equal.

Empowering people to stand up for their rights and informing others about equality, SAM really makes a difference to the people they work for.

Swindon Wildcats Commercial Manager Sally Price was delighted to be welcoming Swindon Advocacy Movement to the Better Link Centre this weekend.

“It’s a pleasure to welcome Swindon Advocacy to the game on Saturday, we always like to do our part to support local charities and we are so thankful that were have such a giving fanbase. I’m sure as always the fans will be welcoming and generous.”
