The Swindon Wildcats Supporters Club (SWSC) is pleased to announce membership details for the new season. Membership is open to everyone and there will be two tiers of membership; Adult (16+) and Junior, for children who are aged 15 and under on 31st August 2018.

Adult membership will be £12.00 and Junior membership will be £6.00. This represents a discount on last season’s full price and represents excellent value for money for membership to the number 1 supporters club in the league.

Details of how to join and what is included in the membership will be released on social media over the next 2 weeks and applications for membership for the 2018/19 season will be accepted at the pre-season launch and BBQ on Sunday 26th August. There will be no Early Bird discounts this season, but everyone who joins before September 16th will be entered into a free prize draw to win a shirt of their choice.

A number of activities, competitions and events are being planned for the new season so members can expect something for everyone. Past favourites are on the schedule including ten-pin bowling and a Christmas party, and this season there will be new events including a quiz, bingo and possibly a karaoke – on the condition Ben Callaghan doesn’t sing!!!!

Speaking about the new season, Supporters Club Chairman Paul Norbury said “The Wildcats have a very broad fanbase so it is important the Supporters Club has something for everyone of all ages. I work with an amazing group of people who have worked very hard to make the Supporters Club a success, and this season promises to be even better. Some of our events will be open to everyone, whether they are in the Supporters Club or not, what’s important is that they support the Wildcats and want to see the Club grow and prosper. I would therefore like everyone to get involved, there is so much more we could do if we all come together and support our team”.

The new-look Supporters Club was formed in 2016 and is now an integral part of the Wildcats, providing a place for fans to come together, mingle with the team and have hockey-fun together. Many of the players will be supporting SWSC events throughout the season and they don’t need any encouragement to come along, in fact some have already put their names down for the infamous bowling evening!

Since there is a large amount of news to be shared with the fanbase about membership, events and activities, the Supporters Club will be using email and its social media platforms to keep everyone updated. We are therefore encouraging all Wildcat fans to follow the SWSC on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/SWSCOfficial/and Twitter https://twitter.com/swsc_official?lang=en, and to stop by the SWSC desk on match nights to keep themselves updated with our events.
