As Christmas comes around this year, we are even more thankful for our fan sponsors who have jumped on board with us to help support the Team for the duration of the 20/21 season.
The fans are the heart and soul of the Swindon Wildcats and never has this been truer than in 2020. From our last game in March through to the NIHL Streaming Series in November, the fanbase has supported the club through competitions, facemasks, streaming tickets and much more. A group of fans have also joined on board as Sponsors and we would like to take the time now to thank them for their sponsorship for this season.
So, in player number order we would like to thank all the following people for their support this year.
As has previously been announced Thomas & Friends are sponsoring Chris Jones for the first time in 20-21. The 5 guys support the team home and away and it is great to see CJ being sponsored by such loyal and loud fans!
Melanie & Nigel Beckett are back again sponsoring their favorite #12 Floyd Taylor for another season and we would like to extend our thanks for their continued support.
Kieran Cookson has become the new sponsor of our Captain Sam Bullas and as we announced previously, we know how much this sponsorship means to Kieran and to Sam so thank you to the Cookson Family for supporting Bully this year as they always do.
One of our longest serving player sponsors Neil & Vicky Davidson have once again put their name to Head Coach Aaron Nell for the new season. Neil & Vicky have been sponsors for many consecutive years and we extend our massive thanks again for them being part of the sponsor family in 20-21.
Our number #24 Tyler Plews will once again be backed by Jim & Sue Power and they continue their support of Plewsey as they have done for the last couple of years whilst he has been in Swindon. Thank you once again for supporting him.
The Glenister Family have once again signed on the dotted line to sponsor Stevie Whitfield for another season. The Glenisters have also been sponsoring him for many years and we could not be more thrilled to work with them again.
A new group of fans have come together in the shape of the Block E Crew and have sponsored our Scottish shot-stopper Renny Marr for the new campaign. We are sure they will all be cheering him on when he is at that end of the ice pad and we would like to thank all of them for coming together to sponsor him.
And for our final fan sponsor, Lucy Norbury, will once again be associated with her favourite player Sam Godfrey. The Norbury family do a massive amount for the club and Lucy is a big part of that too. We are thrilled she gets to support Sam this way and we would like to thank them all for their support once more.
