Swindon Wildcats in the Community and all of the local people who benefit from our sessions would like to thank you for your vote and support, we would also like to thank the Asda Foundation for all of their guidance and donations in recent months.

Between July, August and September Swindon Wildcats in the Community was fundraising through the green token scheme run by the Asda Foundation in the west Swindon shopping centre, because of your votes we have been able to receive further funding in addition to a grant received from Asda Foundation earlier this year.

Dave Ridley, Community Development Officer would like to express his gratitude by saying “All of our community team would like to thank the people who have taken the time to support us by donating their tokens at the Asda store after shopping. The Asda Foundation staff have been great in offering advice and helping us with successful funding which we very much appreciate. It is important that we collect funding so that we can keep running our sessions to the highest standard possible; Whether we are teaching local school children introduction to skating lessons, running after school clubs or teaching the next generation on our learn to play ice hockey sessions we require funding to replace equipment and ensure that the sessions can keep running safely.”

If you were unable to support the Wildcats Community and would like the opportunity to do so there is the chance of donating to charity whilst being in with a chance of winning up to £25,000.

Through the community lottery, you can make a one-off donation or regular small donations which will help the community programs continue to grow.
