The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats can today confirm that Tyler VanKleef will not be returning to Swindon for the forthcoming NIHL Campaign.

After joining from M4 rivals the then Bracknell Bees, Tyler moved to Swindon and posted 40 points in 32 games before the Covid pandemic cancelled the 19/20 season.

Head Coach Aaron Nell said:

We’d like to thank Tyler for the year he spent with us. He had a horrible injury which saw him miss the first few months of the season but when he came in he provided some really important scoring for us.

This off-season I’ve been in contact with Tyler and he’s made the decision to remain in Canada. We’d obviously like to wish him the best for the future and can only thank him for his time in a Wildcats jersey.

We’re working to bring in a second import and will hopefully have some news in the coming weeks’

The club would also like to thank Emily Baskerville for her sponsorship of Tyler during his time in Swindon.
