Saturday night in Swindon is synonymous with hockey night, but there are a few exceptions and Saturday 28th February is one of them. For the last game of the month the team is playing away in Sheffield against the Steeldogs and it could be decisive in the battle for the league.

If you want to be there, you can, because the Supporters Club has organised a fans coach and everyone is invited. You’ll need to purchase your own game ticket from the Steeldogs website but to secure a seat on the coach, you need to register with the Supporters Club. Coach tickets are £35.00 for Supporters Club members and £40.00 for non-members. Wouldn’t it be great if we could fill the coach and take a red army to Sheffield?

Sheffield is a big arena and there are plenty of seats, plus it’s reported they do the best food in the league (their meat and potato pie with mushy peas is delicious), so if you’re worried about missing some live hockey on your Saturday night, why not jump onboard and join the party.

The coach will leave from the Link Centre (hockey office end) at 13.45pm. It is expected to get to Sheffield within 4 hours and it will make a stop on the way up. Sheffield is a brilliant facility with plenty of room, plus there's a bar area, a good food service but if you prefer fast food, there are options within walking distance. Face-off is 7pm and the coach will leave within 15mins at the end of the game and drop you back at the Link Centre.

Is there anything else you should know? Just remember to bring your horns and drums and be ready to shout loud. This could be the biggest game of the season and you can be there to witness it in person.
