As you are aware, preparations are in place for Sam Bullas’ Testimonial in April but before then we have to announce another event for part of the celebrations. Sam will be holding a race night at the Southbrook Inn on Tuesday 2nd April from 6:30PM.

It promises to be a great night of entertainment with the opportunity to try to beat the bookies and the odds and hopefully take home some money for yourself too! There will be some players past and present in attendance and plenty of opportunities to go home with some money.

Tickets are priced at £5 and can be booked by emailing sb13testimonial@gmail.com

On top of all this, we are delighted to be able to confirm SIX more names confirmed for the testimonial match on 27th April.

Ryan Aldridge

“Ryan was the coach who bought me to Swindon and I am buzzing he said he would play in my testimonial. Without Ryan, I wouldn’t be here celebrating my testimonial and he’s a proper legend in Swindon hockey so I’m honored he is playing alongside the Swindon boys again!”

Lee Richardson

“Lee is a good friend of mine and someone whose name is synonymous with Swindon Ice Hockey. The whole Richardson family are lovely and Lee is one of the nicest players in British Hockey. I was honored to play in his testimonial two years ago so it’s great to have him in mine”.

Gareth Endicott

“Aza needs no introduction to Swindon fans. He is first played for the Cats when I was 2 years old, and I played with him in my first season here. He was a big part of the run we had to Coventry that year and I can’t wait to ice alongside him again!”

Mark Smith

“Mark was a great guy in the locker-room whose time in Swindon was frustratingly cut short because of injury. I am thrilled he will be back alongside me once again. He blocked shots for fun and taught some of the young D men so much. I am sure the fans will be buzzing to see him in Swindon again.

Callum Buglass

“Callum was with us for a few years and is a brilliant young D man. I was pleased for him this year when he got his success in the Autumn Cup final against Sheffield and he is always a popular guy with the Swindon fans. After being a competitor all season, it’ll be nice to have him on our side once more!”

Alex Symonds

“Last but by no means least, Symo is a top guy. He is brilliant in the locker-room and we had a good two season together including the year we last made it to Coventry. He is a proper character and a really nice guy as well. I’m delighted he’s available to return to Swindon again and hopefully the fans give him a really warm welcome!”

Swindon Wildcat season ticket holders are reminded that they have until Sunday 10th March to reserve their seats for the game, otherwise, they risk losing their seats for the testimonial match. You can get your tickets at Wildcat Sports through the week or by visiting the Swindon Wildcats Supporters Club table at this weekend’s game.
