In less than four weeks’ time, The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats will hit the ice in front of fans for the first time since the start of the Covid Pandemic.

March 14th 2020, we took on the then Leeds Chiefs, and after much change both in the world of ice hockey, Saturday 4th September we return to the Better Link Centre take on the Leeds Knights. When the puck drops against the Knights it would have been 539 days since the end of the 19/20 campaign and we are pumped to be back playing in front of a crowd.

Therefore, we are absolutely thrilled to confirm that general tickets for both challenge games will go on sale TONIGHT at 5pm. There’s plenty to look forward to for our first game with names such as Matty Davies, Brandon Whistle, and Sam Gospel on the Leeds Roster.

Our pre-season schedule will continue the weekend after with the visit of the Bees IHC, a chance to rekindle the M4 rivalry we have with Doug Sheppard and his team.

Head Coach Aaron Nell said:

“Releasing the tickets is one of the final steps for us to take ahead of the new season. The boys are itching to be playing in front of fans again and I really hope the game with Leeds will be in front of a big crowd.

We loved being back on the ice in the Spring Cup and Streaming Series but we missed the fans so much, with our tickets going on sale tonight we can really start counting down the days until our opening face-off!
