Following on from our most recent announcement of fans joining us as sponsors for the new season, we’re delighted to be confirming another group of fans who’ve committed to the team for the 23/24 campaign.

Once again, the heartbeat of the clubs is the fans and without them, there wouldn’t be a Swindon Wildcats team, we’re overjoyed to be working with this group heading into the new season. In number order once more:

Sam Bullas will be backed for another 12 months by Kieran Cookson. Sam and Kieran have an off-ice relationship which has lasted almost as long as Sam’s been in Swindon. Kieran is no doubt Bully’s biggest fan, and we know how excited he’ll be to see Bully skate out with his name on his jersey again. We also know how much it’ll mean to Bully to see Kieran’s name with him when he puts the jersey on!

Stevie Whitfield will also have familiar sponsors with The Glenister Family being his main sponsor for 23/24. In what will be his final season in hockey, The Glenister Family have sponsored him for many years now and will continue that into his final season. The entire family are big hockey fans and thoroughly enjoy the committed performances of #28 on the ice night in, night out.

Stevie is also lucky enough to have Annette Duffy as his associate sponsor for the new season. Another fan who spends hockey night delighted by the performance of her sponsored player and someone loyal to Stevie and the club, who will continue to back #28 in his final season.

Tyler Perre is coming back to Swindon and will be backed by two of Swindon’s longest-attending fans. The Chivers Brothers, Malcolm, and Chris have been watching hockey in Swindon since it first arrived. Their recognisable yellow jackets are a feature to home fans and their passion for hockey in Swindon is unrivalled. Having sponsored Dean Skinns recently, they’re thrilled to see their commitment move to Tyler this year.

Lastly, another returning face to Swindon is Josh Shaw and his associate sponsor for this year will be Pete Osborne. Josh came through the academy in Swindon and made some impactful performances when he first broke onto the scene as a 16-year-old. After a year away in Bristol, Josh returns to Swindon as one of the premier young British players in the country and we’re sure Pete will be keeping a close eye on the performances Josh puts in throughout the season.

With more players being backed like this, we look forward to our next batch of announcements coming very soon!
