The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to announce that two of our final remaining players on the 23-24 Roster have now been sponsored ensuring that every player has a player sponsor associated with them!
In number order we can confirm that Alfie Druett will be backed by The A Team and Josh Shaw will be sponsored by Richard Pringle-Smith.
Alfie broke into the senior Wildcats side last season having spent his career in Swindon coming up through the junior ranks. The A Team is a group of fans with a personal connection to Alfie, making the sponsorship even more special.
11 fans from Block A have clubbed together to support Alfie, of which that includes his ‘Nan and Pop’ as well as his great Aunt. Alfie began his hockey career sitting in Block A watching the Wildcats with his family, so they’re delighted to be backing him on the ice this time around.
Meanwhile, Richard Pringle-Smith will be sponsoring Josh Shaw following his summer move back to Swindon from Bristol.
Josh has had a brilliant impact in Swindon since his return and is one of the premier Under 20 players in the country. He’s just been called up to the GB U20 team for their World Championship later this season.
Richard will be backing Josh for the remainder of the season and will no doubt be cheering him on with a close eye when he pulls the GB jersey on in December.
