Swindon Wildcats are thrilled to announce that fan favourite Edgars Bebris was part of a big birthday surprise for Sally Norbury who has been confirmed as his sponsor for the upcoming season.
Many of you will know Swindon Wildcats Supporters Club Chairman Paul Norbury who organised this sponsorship for his wife Sally as a special birthday gift. Sally spent some time at the End of Season events getting to know Edgars, they got on so well that Paul decided it would be a nice treat for Sally’s birthday.
Paul commented,
“Edgars is a great player to watch and we are both really pleased that he wants to play for the Wildcats again. I am always stuck when it comes to a birthday present so when I saw Sally and Edgars talking at the End of Season events, I thought it would be a unique present. Thankfully, Sally was very happy with her present”
Swindon Wildcats Commercial Manager Sally Price was more than happy to help with the surprise and said:
“When Paul told me about his plan to surprise Sally for her birthday I was so happy to help, that’s got to be the best birthday gift a wife could ask for. Sally is a huge part of the Wildcats organisation, like her husband Paul they do so much for the club and it’s an honour to have Sally on board as an official player sponsor. Welcome to the club Sally, I look forward to working with you in the new season.”
