Hey everyone!
This year the club have asked me to write up a fortnightly blog as a way to help bring the players closer to the fans. Maybe they’ll call it Bully’s Blog but I’m sure the brilliant media team will come up with a better name for it!
Anyway, back to the hockey!
The first weekend of the season was about as perfect as we’d have liked with the 12-0 and 0-3 wins!
We know Hull are going to be stronger the next time we face them, but I thought we put in a professional performance against the Seahawks in front of a huge crowd. The boys were delighted for Jamie to get a game-winning goal on debut, he’s a talented player who’s been working really hard on the ice with us recently.
Sunday was a tougher game, but again I though we did a great job. Tomasz got a big goal at the end of the second, and then CJ stepped up big in the third period.
I’d like to take a moment to congratulate Aaron on his 1000th point as well. I know he’s not the kind of guy to big it up but it’s an outstanding achievement and one deep down, I know he’ll be really proud of.
That’s probably enough from me now, but I’ll get writing on the next piece ready for two weeks time.
Three games this weekend, bring the noise and we look forward to seeing your support on the road too!
