2 weeks really does fly by doesn’t it!
I thought the boys did a superb job last weekend against the Raiders. We had a tough weekend before against the Bison and we knew we had to have a good weekend against a team we’ve had some mixed results again in the last few years.
Saturday we didn’t have the best first period but I really thought we grew into the game well. The start of the second period we played some really nice hockey and got some good goals from Tomasz, Russ and Bali!
It was also goo to see Reed get another one for his account this year, Reed (and Jack) will hopefully going to be a big part of our future and it’s great to see them contribute.
Sunday was a tough game, it felt like a battle all night long and both netminders did a good job. Russ got another big goal for us as did Bali and Tomasz again.
Just the one game this weekend, but Slava and the Phantoms have a good team again this year. We can spend the week focusing on them and the way they play.
Bring the noise again this weekend, you’ve got nothing to save it for on Sunday after all! I might even be able to get some marking done which isn’t on a bus this weekend!
