Hey Everyone,
It was good to get a home win again last weekend, Hull were missing some players but we had to get the result we wanted. I felt we played better than the 3-1 scoreline which we got, but getting the two points are the important thing.
On Sunday it was a hard game in Leeds. There’s a reason they’re favourites for the league title at the moment and they were very clinical. Again, I thought 7-1 was an unfair reflection of the game but the best team won, and we must bounce back this weekend against the Bees.
This Saturday is CJ’s 300th game for the Wildcats and he’s been a major part of our team over the last few seasons since coming over from Cardiff. He doesn’t always get the credit he deserves but he’s always been scoring big goals for us and hopefully he’ll be around for a few hundred more!
The other announcement this week is Floyd’s testimonial. Floyd has been another massive part of our team and he deserves the celebration he’ll be getting from the club. He’s busy planning an exciting night at the Link and with some of the names he wants to bring back you’ll absolutely want to be there!
I’m still grateful for all the support the Cats fans gave me for my testimonial so please make sure you keep the 22ndApril free and make it a special day for Floydy too!
