Hey Cats fans!
Happy 2023!
It feels like ages since I’ve last written to you, so I hope you all had a great Christmas and a good New Year.
We’ve got a triple header this week, so I won’t write too much as I’ve got training soon!
We clearly didn’t start the year as well as we’d have wanted with a home defeat last weekend against the Raiders, we need to play better than we did last weekend that’s clear to see.
With the Bees and then a double header with Sheffield it’s going to be a long weekend for us all but it’s going to be fun. We haven’t played the Bees as much as we normally have done by now, so it’ll be a good test for us in their barn, but It’s a game we need to win. The last time we were there it was the goalie goal, who know what might happen this time!
Sheffield are one of the best structured teams in the league so beating them is always a big challenge, especially on their large ice pad. We must be switched on they’ve got some very good players who turn up at big moments.
Anyway, that’s it from me this week. All I ask is you all bring some noise to whichever games you’re at this weekend. The team and I really notice it and over Christmas the atmosphere was fantastic. Let’s have a good second half of the season!
