Hope you are having a good week so far.
Last weekend was another positive one for us, on Saturday I thought we played well against a Telford team who are struggling a little this season. I think at 3-2 the game was there for both teams but we scored almost immediately after their second and we found an extra gear for the remainder of the third period.
On Sunday I thought we controlled the game very well. Renny was big for us at the start and then we got into our groove. We owed our fans a big derby win and it’s what we gave them. We haven’t been good enough when we’ve played Bristol this year but on Sunday we were deserved winners.
Looking ahead to this weekend we’ve got a tough weekend. Basingstoke is one of the most challenging rinks to play in and they are hitting their stride at the moment. On Sunday we then have a game with MK who are still well in a title race. We’ve been playing well recently and will be looking to continue that this weekend.
Off the ice it was brilliant to have Bespoke Guardians confirmed again as title sponsors for 23/24. We’ve been working with Rob and his team for 2 years now and we’re delighted to be continuing that partnership for another year.
Speaking of 23/24, you may want to keep an eye on our social media channels tomorrow as there’s some news I think you’ll all like!
