Hey Everyone,
Well we’ve had the first weekend of the playoffs and how tense was that?!
We we’re obviously disappointed with losing on Saturday and being shut out on home ice as well. On the whole, we competed well in the game but we didn’t create as many offensive chances as we would have liked.
Sunday was a much better result and another really impressive atmosphere. For those of you who were there will know the noise levels in the arena that night and it was a huge result for us to get the win like we did.
I definitely felt we deserved something over the weekend and it would have been really tough to swallow if we hadn’t got something. I was proud of the boys and we have put ourselves in a good spot going into the second weekend.
Sheffield will be another really difficult weekend, they’ve got some very good players and we’ll have to be very switched on to make sure we get the results we need.
The fans were superb last weekend but we’ll need you to be just as loud this weekend, we want to make it to Coventry and we know we’re capable of doing it.
