Hope you are having a good week!
Looking back to last weekend it’s an understatement to say we are disappointed with the results. It was a massive weekend for us, and it didn’t go the way we wanted it to go. I must give credit to Telford; they played some brilliant hockey and were very deserving of the four points.
I did think Saturday we played well for the first two periods of the game and then a mad few minutes allowed them to gain momentum which they took and then we were on the back foot. Sunday was probably more disappointing as we didn’t compete well enough, and I felt like they wanted it more than we did.
This weekend is a no-excuse match-up. We must play better, and we must come away with two points. It will be no easy task as the Raiders are a good hockey team and just the other weekend completed a four-point weekend against Milton Keynes.
Hopefully, we’ll have a loud crowd to support us and get behind us. We’ve had success this year and we know we can be a winning hockey team; this Saturday is the perfect chance to show it.

last saturday was a good game but the team were out passed and out bullied – we seem to lack the fire to engage with them against the boards, a few quick slams would of put them in their place.
