I hope you’re having a good week and enjoyed the result on Saturday.
I thought it was a good game of hockey and it was good for us to get the win in that manner, coming from behind twice is always good for morale and I thought it was a good example of how close the competitiveness is this year.
We obviously have had three signing announcements this week and we thought it was important to get these names out early. Whilst they may not be a complete surprise, they’re all vital parts of our team.
The biggest testament I can probably say about these three is when they’re out of our line-up it highlights the little things, they all bring. We know Renny is one of the best netminders in the national league and he gives us a chance to win every night.
Plewsey is an old school defencemen and his game has come on leaps and bounds since he first joined us. CJ again the work he does in the offensive zone may go unnoticed by some but is vital to the way we play, and I couldn’t be happier to have them back in the team next year.
Looking ahead to this weekend, it’s another big weekend with a resurgent Basingstoke Bison on Friday night before a huge match with MK, who’ve properly strengthened since we last played them.
It’s going to be an exciting weekend of hockey and because of the Friday you don’t have quite so long to wait!
