With most of the roster for 23-24 already confirmed, The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are delighted to confirm that Colby Tower has agreed to remain in Swindon for another season following his successful debut campaign last time out.

The 26-year-old forward joined the Wildcats last summer from Nipissing University of the USports league in Canada.

In his first season in Swindon, he contributed 68 points in 55 league games, 35 of which were goals and 33 assists. As the season moved on, his speed and all-round hard work ensured he quickly became a fan favourite at the Better Link Centre.

During his time with Nipissing he was also the Captain for his team, leading them to the Conference Semi Finals in the 21-22 season.

Head Coach Aaron Nell said:

Colby was everything I wanted him to be when I signed him last summer and I’m delighted to be bringing him back for a second season. He’s rapid across the ice and gets on well with the boys in the locker-room. I think it took him a little time to find his feet in the league but in the second half of the season I thought he was brilliant for us and I’m excited to see what he can do in a second season.

He really clicked with Russ and CJ and with all three back for another year it gives us the option to do this going forward if we see the need to II know how popular he was last season so I hope the fans are as excited as we are to get him back.

As well as Colby, we’re also delighted to confirm that Provalido will once again be sponsoring him for the new season. The procurement professionals based in Swindon also joined the club as first-time sponsors last summer.
