On Saturday evening the Cats returned to home ice to take on the Bees, after a big win in Slough the previous Sunday.

The Wildcats started the game brightly and created a few chances but the scoreline remained 0-0 after the first few minutes, however the hosts opened the scoring just after the 6 minute mark when Sam Bullas scored the Cats first goal of the evening. A few minutes later Gael Lubwele added a second with a well tipped goal at 09:59.

The Bees were able to pull a goal back through Josh Smith after some good work down low by Aidan Doughty.

Tomasz Malasinski then added a third goal with a superb coast to coast goal to make it 3-1 before Colby Tower added the fourth goal inside the final minute to end the period at 4-1 in favour of the Wildcats.

In the middle period the scoring slowed down somewhat, but there was still time for Sam Bullas to add a second goal of the evening making the game 5-1.

On the powerplay later in the middle stanza, Dom Gabaj was able to fire a puck past Tyler Perre in the Wildcats goal. The end of the second period came to a close with the scoreline 5-2 in favour of the Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats.

The scoring picked up in the third period once more as Wildcats pressed forward for the win. Tomasz Malasinski added his 30th goal of the year before Gael Lubwele completed a hat-trick with 2 extra goals to make the game 8-2 just passed the 45 minute mark.

Gianni Vitali added the visitors third of the night and the Cats managed to add a 9th goal through Player/Coach Aaron Nell inside the final five minutes of the third period. Inside the final minute the Bees added a fourth consolation goal but it was enough for the Wildcats to seal a big 9-4 victory in their first home game of the weekend.
