The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are pleased to announce that a familiar face will once again be a part of the line-up for 22/23. Loris Taylor has put pen to paper to move back to Swindon after a spell in Bristol last season.

In NIHL1 he posted 33 points in 30 games for the Pitbulls last season, where he was the captain of the team. Loris is no stranger to Swindon hockey having come through the academy and playing with the senior sides at various stages in his career.

He was a big part of the team between 2018 & 2020 where he posted 46 points in 102 games for the team, and of course being a part of the 2019 title winning NIHL1 side.

He is also capped at international level playing for the Team GB U18s in the 09-10 season.

Loris appeared for the team last year when the Wildcats were struck by Covid and showed his skills on the ice at National League Level.

Head Coach Aaron Nell said:

Loris was a player I targeted early in the off-season, we wanted to bring some more depth to our line-up this summer and he provides that. He can play anywhere in our lines and has the versatility required to be flexible every night.

During his last two seasons with us he scored some big goals for the team and I’m looking forward to him doing so again this season. I know the fans appreciate his effort on the ice and I’m sure they’ll be happy to see him back in Swindon again this season.
