The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are overjoyed to announce that Tomasz Malasinski has put pen to paper on a two-year contract extension to remain in Swindon until at least the end of the 23/24 season.

Tomasz originally arrived in Swindon under previous Head Coach Ryan Aldridge, since his return in 2019 he’s contributed 67 goals and 112 assists in 108 games.

Before coming back to Swindon, he had played back in his hometown captaining GKS Katowice to Silver and Bronze medals, as well as a run in the IIHF Continental Cup tournament where they won Bronze in the Grand Final in Belfast.

Speaking after confirming his return head coach Aaron Nell said:

“Tomasz came back to Swindon and fitted in like a glove. His all-round work ethic is second to none and I personally believe he’s one of the best all round players in the league. Keeping him in Swindon for another couple of years allows us to build our forward structure around him. The fans love him, we love him and he loves it in Swindon. This is a great move for everyone.”

His hard working, skilful and energetic play will be vital to the team for the upcoming couple of years.
